Biography

Joshua focuses almost exclusively on Vietnam, where he writes about travel, architecture, design, culture and food.

As well as authoring guidebooks for Bradt, Fodor's, Lonely Planet and Hardie Grant, you'll find his words on the pages and screens of many of the world's top publications, including The Economist, Wallpaper, Adventure.com, Michelin Guide and Asia's first-rate in-flight magazines. He also designs and narrates immersive neighbourhood audio walking tours for VoiceMap.

Hanoi is home, but Joshua moves throughout Vietnam several times a year to keep up to date with the northern mountains, Halong Bay, Cat Ba Island, Phong Nha, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and the islands.
