I am the board’s newly appointed commercial director, which means I am looking after benefits and facilities for members as well as taking on the financial director role – so I have two hats.
I am currently in talks with Arvon Foundation and am hoping to get some sort of member discount in return for me helping them with suggestions for tutors for a new travel writing course.
I don’t know all the membership, particularly anyone who has joined since we were last able to get together face-to-face and so would love people to put themselves forward if they feel this is something they would like to be involved in.
Previous teaching experience is key and you would be paired with an established Arvon tutor to deliver an intensive week of zoom lessons, and paid appropriately.
